Manufactured Home Loan

Mike Starr·Reviewed August 2026

A manufactured home loan is a mortgage used to finance a factory-built home constructed to HUD standards and installed on a permanent foundation. Manufactured homes may be financed with conventional loans, FHA Title I or Title II loans, VA loans, or USDA loans, depending on whether the home is classified as real property or personal property.
